Review: DJ Earl - ‘Bass + Funk & Soul’

I reviewed the great new footwork release from DJ Earl for Loud and Quiet this week. It’s one of the most accessible and immediate albums I can think of for this style, so if you’re unfamiliar with the great lineage of footwork producers, definitely check this out. It’s a graceful, euphoric take on classic sounds, and you can tell how much love and care went into these beats. The full review can be read here.
